The French President confirmed Kylian Mbappe’s new stop

French President Emmanuel Macron accidentally revealed Kylian Mbappe’s new destination after leaving PSG.

Last night, Mbappe played his last match at Parc des Princes in PSG’s 3-1 loss to Toulouse. After this match, the French striker has 3 away matches against Nice, Metz (Ligue 1) and Lyon (French national cup) before leaving PSG.

Because the contract between the two sides has ended, Mbappe is allowed to leave on a free transfer. PSG did not receive any fees. According to many sources, Mbappe is likely to move to Real Madrid this summer.

The above information was accidentally confirmed by French President Emmanuel Macron. Speaking on RMC Sport radio, Mr. Emmanuel Macron posted on social network X: “I hope that Real Madrid will let Mbappe attend the Olympics so he can serve the French team.”

The player 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in 1998 once expressed his desire to compete in the Olympics: “I always have the Olympic fire burning inside me. Along with the World Cup, the Olympics is a world-class sporting event .”

The 2024 Olympics will be held in France. Therefore, they really want to win the gold medal right at home. However, the possibility of Mbappe’s new club releasing this player to attend the Olympics is not high.

This is not a FIFA-level tournament, so clubs do not need to release players if they feel it is not necessary. In June this year, Mbappe will have to “exert himself” at Euro 2024, which takes place from June 14 to July 11. Meanwhile, Olympic men’s soccer takes place from July 24.

If he attends the Olympics, it is likely that Mbappe will miss the beginning of the season with his new team. Of course, Real Madrid or any club that owns Mbappe would not be foolish enough to pay a high salary for the player to… rest in the early part of the season.

In other developments, coach Ancelotti refused to talk about the possibility of Mbappe moving to play for Real Madrid. He said: “Kylian Mbappe? I’m not thinking about that topic at the moment. Right now Real Madrid has more important things to focus on.”

According to sources from AS, Mbappe cannot take the number 7 at Real Madrid because this shirt is owned by Vinicius Jr. Instead, there is a high possibility that the French striker will wear the number 10 shirt at the club when Luka Modric will leave the club at the end of the season.
