Leaning forward! As Anne Hathaway plays around on the set of the next film Colossal, she nearly disappeared in a disheveled fringe hairpiece

She’s currently in the process of shooting the new movie Colossal.

But Anne Hathaway proved it isn’t all work and no play as she was seen showing off her goofy side while dancing around on set in a disheveled wig on Monday.

Shooting in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, the typically chic actress cut a more unkempt figure for her first day of filming.

Anne Hathaway proved it isn’t all work and no play as she was seen showing off her goofy side while dancing around on the set of the new movie Colossal in a disheveled wig on Monday

In place of her typically sleek, glossy mane was a fringed brown wig that looked a little dry and unruly.

The 32-year-old star’s outfit was equally laid-back as she donned a khaki jacket with a partially unbuttoned white shirt and ripped skinny jeans.

On her feet were a pair of distressed black boots, perfect for the scene that saw her stamping around on a floor of damp leaves.

Anne’s new movie will see her play the role of Gloria, an ordinary woman who, after losing her job and her fiancé, decides to leave New York to move back to her hometown.

However things soon take an unexpected, and incredibly unnerving, turn when news reports surface claiming that a giant lizard is destroying the city of Tokyo.

Anne’s character then comes to realize that she is strangely connected to the far-off events via the power of her mind and to prevent further destruction she must determine why her seemingly insignificant existence has such a colossal effect on the state of the world.

According to TMZ, the actress sent her eggs back four times because they weren’t cooked to her liking.
