The Perseverance Award is given to individuals who have shown that “no matter what adversity they face, they will continue to aspire to inspire,” according to Hollywood Unlocked.

The annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards celebrates the accomplishments of individuals who have contributed to music, film, media, politics, social, and creative industries.

The ceremony was founded by Hollywood Unlocked CEO Jason Lee in 2020.

This year’s award show will also recognize designer Christian Louboutin with the Innovator Award, rapper Cardi B with the Inspiration Award, and fellow Bronx rapper Fat Joe with the Culture Award.

The former Marvel actor, 34, was convicted in December of recklessly causing physical injuries to his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, 31.

Majors, who was envisioned to star as Marvel’s time-traveling villain Kang the Conquerer in the MCU’s Multiverse Saga for years to come, was immediately fired by the movie studio after his conviction.

In April, a judge in New York sentenced the once-rising movie star to a year of domestic violence counseling.

Jabbari, who met Majors in London while on the set of Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, blasted her ex-boyfriend at his sentencing, saying he would “hurt other women.”

“He has not accepted responsibility, and he will do this again,” the 31-year-old movement coach said during her impact statement in April.

“He will hurt other women… this is a man who thinks he’s above the law.

“I had a career and life and body, all of which he’s damaged.”

Judge Michael Gaffey issued a full protective order for Jabbari.

Majors will be jailed for a year if he violates the terms of the order.

A jury convicted the actor of one count of reckless assault and one count of harassment but acquitted him of a second assault and aggravated assault charges.

MAJORS ARRESTED

The charges stemmed from a March 2023 domestic violence incident involving Majors and Jabbari in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.

Investigators said the altercation was sparked when Jabbari grabbed Majors’ phone after seeing a text she believed was from another woman.

The text, prosecutors said read, “Wish I was kissing you right now.”

Majors responded by pulling Jabbari’s finger, twisting her arm behind her back, and striking her face in an attempt to retrieve his phone, according to court documents.

Surveillance footage in the area showed the moment after the altercation inside a taxi when Majors and Jabbari exited the back of the black SUV.

Majors is seen lifting Jabbari by her waist and throwing her back inside the car as he proceeds to run away from her.

Investigators said Majors stayed in a hotel after the fight and returned to his apartment the following morning to find Jabbari unconscious.

Majors called police, thinking the British choreographer had committed suicide, court records read.

The Creed III actor was later arrested and charged with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment, and one count of aggravated harassment charges.

I shouldn’t have been in the car… I shouldn’t have been in the relationship.

Majors broke his silence on his conviction and maintained his innocence.

The actor told Good Morning America in January that he still did not know how Jabbari suffered her injuries.

“That did not happen. I wish to God I knew [what caused her injuries],” Majors said, declaring he was not responsible.

“That would give clarity, that would give me some type of peace about it.”

When asked if he felt responsible for his ex-girlfriend’s injuries, Majors said, “I shouldn’t have been in the car… I shouldn’t have been in the relationship.

“If I’m not in the car, none of this is happening. If I leave the relationship, none of this is happening.

“If I’m man enough or brave enough to say, ‘I want to see somebody else’ or, ‘I’m done now,’ I’m not in that car. We’re not here. I’m responsible for those things.”
