Mitchell has one year left on his contract and is eligible for a four-year, $208 million extension with the Cavaliers. There have been varying reports on his future in Clevland, but for much of his time with the Cavs, it’s been public knowledge that he’s unwilling to sign a long-term deal to stay in The Land.

Mitchell would help the Lakers build the best Big 3 in the league with James and Davis. This lethal trio has the ability to compete with any roster in the NBA for a shot at the title.

NBA executives are considering drafting Bronny James in the first round as a way to lure LeBron in free agency. “If you’re a contender and you’re not having those conversations, it’s irresponsible,” an executive said.”
