Free agent Taurean Prince intends to sign a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Free agent Taurean Prince is moving out of Hollywood.
Prince won’t return to the Los Angeles Lakers and plans to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks, as reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Prince averaged 8.9 points and 2.9 rebounds and shot almost 40% from the 3-point area last season for the Lakers.
Prince, who started 49 of the 78 games he played in LA, will reunite with former Lakers coach Darvin Ham, who is now an assistant coach with the Bucks.
The moves comes as a surprise after Prince had said in an interview in late May that he wants to remain a Laker moving forward.
