Elon Musk: “Tesla Cybertrυck Isп’t a Fridge oп Wheels, Bυt a Slammed Widebody CGI Street Fighter”

Both literally aпd figυratively, Tesla had a very big year iп 2023. They iпtrodυced iп some regioпs the refreshed Model 3 Highlaпd, posted пew prodυctioп aпd sales records, aпd also laυпched the highly-aпticipated Cybertrυck.

The latter could become the new bread and butter for Tesla if the company plays its cards right. At the moment, it’s attracting everyone’s attention – though not necessarily for the best things. Many people are not impressed with its different styling and basically call it a ‘fridge on wheels.’ Of course, bad publicity is still publicity – has anyone noticed that BMW’s sales keep rising despite the backlash toward its styling choices of late?

Back to the Cybertruck, it seems everyone wants a piece of the action, as it turns out. Both scheming importers, viral socialites, and the imaginative realm of digital car content creators. Vishnu Suresh, the self-taught concept artist behindthe zephyr_designz moniker on social media, has been hard at work envisioning an extreme Cybertruck – and we really hope that someone will see it and get to work turning it into reality.

After all, what could go viral in this ridiculous world where everyone has tried everything? In fact, let’s get back to the basics and keep it simple – for example, turn a pickup truck into a street fighter that could feel right at home in amodern Tokyo Drift remake. But what’s the catch with this unofficial design project?

Well, the 21-years-old self-taught concept artist loves two things – getting a vehicle as close as possible to the ground, to the point of scaring away ants, and making it as wide as possible, to the point of hypothetically making parking attendants frown at the sight of a car that can’t fit inside a designated space anymore. He has done it numerous times and with various models – from the tiny Toyota GR Yaris to the massive BMW X7 LCI and just about anything in between. However, this pixel master isn’t exactly known for pickup truck morphing in the CGI community. Well, that changes now, all thanks to this satin matte black Tesla Cybertruck that feels ready for a Cyberpunk-based Hollywood blockbuster.

It comes not only with a switch to the Darth Vader-style menacing wrap (Cybertrucks have a stainless-steel body, they can’t be painted) but also with all the goodies that would impress SEMA Show attendees – a slammed attitude, lots of aerodynamic improvements (including wing, side skirts, giant diffuser), and a massive widebody kit. Of course, the CGI author didn’t forget about the cherry on top – a set of crimson brake calipers draw attention to the matching black aftermarket wheels and the beefier brakes. Of course, the world of social media is never satisfied or restless, which is probably why 99% of the author’s fans loved the transformation, but there were still some random enthusiasts who didn’t think this imagined stealth fighter for the road was good enough and demanded that it becomes a 6×6 next!
