Rory McIlroy boasts one of the most impressive golf resumes in history. He also might have the best collection of golf club memberships.
Days before McIlroy added to the former by winning the DP World Tour Championhip and a sixth career Race to Dubai, the four-time major champ was asked how many memberships he has. And his candid answer did NOT disappoint.
“Gotta go country by country here. . . ” McIlroy begins. You know you’re doing well when you can say that. And then he delivered a delightful little dagger at his dad, Gerry.
“Can I include Seminole?” McIlroy says in the clip. “Because I pay for that for my dad.”
Boom, roasted. Not that Gerry minds. Anyway, have a look and listen at this fun clip from the DP World Tour’s content team as McIlroy comes up with a staggering total:

“My favorite is the R&A,” McIlroy added. And judging by that photo above taken at the Old Course, Gerry enjoys that one too.
