Kylie Kelce, who is currently expecting her fourth 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 with her ex-NFL star husband Jason, has opened up about their family life on her podcast and lack of time together.
NFL hero Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie, has left fans gobsmacked with her revelation regarding their family time – or the lack it.
Having tied the knot in 2018, Kylie and Philadelphia Eagles icon Jason – brother of pop sensation Taylor Swift’s sweetheart Travis Kelce – are parents to three little girls. They’re also expecting 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 number four, having shared the exciting news on social media just last month.
Though Jason has stepped away from the gridiron, it seems his days aren’t exactly brimming with family moments, with Kylie revealing that she spends even less time with him now than when he was suited up with the Eagles. “My husband is busier now than he has ever been,” Kylie confessed on her Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast. “I see him less now in retirement than I did when he was playing football.”
Jason retired in 2023, but his life hasn’t slowed down. He’s carved out a successful broadcasting career, with regular appearances on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown.
He also joins brother Travis in hosting the New Heights podcast, which recently snagged a colossal $100million (£78m) contract with Amazon. Meanwhile, the Kelce brothers have become significant backers of Garage Beer, an up-and-coming craft light beer brand.
Jason’s jam-packed schedule leaves little room for 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥care, according to Kylie. Even when she’s busy recording her podcast, Jason seldom has time to look after the kids.
“When I have to do something, coaching, something for the Eagles Autism Foundation, something for the podcast, a doctor’s appointment even, I will schedule 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥care,” she explained. “My husband could tell me 72 times that he will be in the house during the times when I have to leave it. I will still schedule 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥care.”

Kylie did reassure listeners that she wasn’t criticizing her husband, whom she described as “really grinding”. Continuing, she said: “We had a set schedule then (when he was playing football). Now, it’s an absolute free-for-all.
“He is working so hard and really grinding right now. And so, I just make sure that I am covered. And if that means that he’s at the house and someone else is there just to makeup the difference, then that’s what we have going on. He will not be watching the kids. He’s not watching them right now. I think he’s doing meetings.”
Kylie’s remarks sparked quite a reaction on social media. One YouTube user commented: “Can’t believe Jason isn’t pitching in with the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥care when his wife is pregnant. Wow.”

Another concurred, posting: “I like the Kelce brothers but if this is how Jason treats Kylie then I feel bad for Taylor. If my husband left me watching the kids while I was pregnant I’d divorce him!”
One critic, however, called out what they saw as Kylie’s double standards. “You can’t complain about Jason spending too much time doing podcasts and not being able to look after the kids when you are *checks notes* recording a podcast while not looking after the kids.”
Jason dedicated all 13 years of his NFL career to the Eagles. The ex-center was instrumental in landing the team its inaugural Super Bowl win at Super Bowl LII in 2018, where they triumphed over the New England Patriots with a score of 41-33. Additionally, he racked up an impressive seven Pro Bowl picks and six All-Pro honors between 2017 and 2023.
