This cozy cabin is a restored vintage railcoach converted into a rustic retreat. This little cabin is based at Settle.
Settle is home to three beautifully restored vintage railway carriages, a handcrafted lakeside cabin and luxury summer canvas camping, each with its own yoga deck, all blissfully set in our private Norfolk parkland. Lovingly refurbished, designed, and built by our team using authentic materials from our yard, Morways Reclamation, Settle’s stays have been uniquely created to give our guests the most restful retreats in this pocket of South Norfolk.
A vintage railcoach is often made of wood and has a classic design. The outside may have beautiful details and decorations, such as carved patterns or fancy paintwork. Inside, you’ll find comfortable seats, often covered in plush or elegant upholstery. There might be wooden panels and brass fittings that give it a luxurious feel.
Cozy Kitchen
Today, vintage railcoaches are sometimes preserved and restored to their former glory. They are loved by train enthusiasts and history buffs who appreciate their classic design and nostalgic atmosphere. Some vintage railcoaches are even used for special events or scenic train rides, allowing people to experience the charm of old-fashioned train travel.
