Kylian Mbappe’s stub𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 stance is really getting on Paris Saint-Germain’s nerves. The Spanish outfit have chosen to keep an eye on the situation until a concrete development arrives, but the French setup, unfortunately, cannot adopt such a position.
President Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the club’s Qatari owners are fed up with the winger’s antics. However, the Ligue 1 side cannot afford to lose their best player on a free transfer next summer, and it is clear that they are drowning in helplessness.
According to reports from Le Parisien, PSG have been pushed to the limit by Mbappe. The Ligue 1 champions’ frustration has reached such an extent that the club are willing to go to any extreme to pressurise the player to force him out of the club.
However, there does not appear to be any chance of banning the World Cup winner as it stands. He will continue to be part of the team’s preseason tour in Japan but will be faced with constant pressure to leave.
The French setup’s leaders agree that they have offered Mbappe huge salary conditions, but claim that these sums can only be claimed as part of a future transfer or an extension beyond 2024. Given that these are the terms of the agreement, the 24-year-old would stand to gain nothing if he leaves on a free transfer.
With the Parisian administration providing a clear update on the nature and conditions for his bonuses, it is time for Mbappe to wake up and smell the coffee. After all, the stars seem aligned for his long-awaited move to Real Madrid.
As matters stand, Los Blancos are ready with the money for Mbappe’s signing and have placed their other operations on hold. However, a lot can change in the upcoming meeting between Real Madrid’s three heavyweights – Carlo Ancelotti, Florentino Perez, and Jose Angel Sanchez.
