Kylian Mbappe’s story: Young star with a warm heart

Mbappe is on the way to becoming the best player in the world. Even more amazing when in addition to football talent, Mbappe is also a warm-hearted person with many charitable activities.

At the age of 23, Kylian Mbappe has carved his name into the annals of world football . The French player has just added to the trophy cabinet the award of the 2022 World Cup Golden Shoe.

In 2018, Mbappe led his team to glory at the age of 19, scoring four goals throughout the tournament. Four years on, the young man from a small suburb in Paris has developed into a truly fearsome striker, scoring eight goals in the 2022 World Cup .

Mbappe won the Golden Shoe of the World Cup 2022.

Although the French team could not successfully defend the World Cup title, on a personal level, Mbappe still had a successful tournament when he had 12 goals, only four goals behind the leader of the list. All-time World Cup scorer (Miroslav Klose, 16 goals). If all goes well, the day Mbappe becomes the top scorer at the World Cup is not far away.

There’s so much more to Mbappe, the PSG player told the New York Times earlier this year: “I want to be more than just a footballer, someone who just plays on yachts and swings. money”.

Mbappe is famous for his philanthropic activities, he has established his own fund for disadvantaged 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren in Paris and donated all of the national team’s winnings to charity. At the same time, he refuses to advertise for any brands related to alcohol, gambling and fast food.

Despite his success at a very young age, Mbappe doesn’t let the halo of glory and fame pull him away from his roots or principles.

When summoned to the French team, Mbappe decided to participate in a number of charity activities; attended many fundraisers, visited disadvantaged communities to play ball with young 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren and donated a substantial amount of money to help those in need.

Specifically, Mbappe donated his entire winnings for winning the 2018 World Cup – around £400,000 – to a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren’s charity. He told TIME Magazine: “I don’t need to be paid. I was there to protect the national flag.”

“I make enough money – a lot of money. So I think it’s important to help people in need. A lot of people are suffering… for people like us, helping people is not the same thing. big thing”.

In 2020, Mbappe established a charity fund called “Inspired by KM”, which supports 98 disadvantaged 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren from various backgrounds from going to school until they start working, and at the same time providing provide funding for these 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to access many extra-curricular activities.

The France forward has released a compilation book in 2021, Je m’appelle Kylian, to inspire 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to build their dreams. The novel follows Mbappe’s journey from 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 to sports icon.

In addition to making a huge donation to the Abbe Pierre Foundation that helps fund Covid-19 relief efforts, Mbappe is also a leading fundraiser in the search for former player Emiliano Sala, who went missing following a plane crash. when moving from France to the UK in 2019.

As Mbappe matures, the principles of life become clearer.

He has outspokenly condemned evils such as gambling, alcohol and fast food, choosing not to sign any sponsorship agreements with companies engaged in industries he considers harmful.

Mbappe came into conflict with the French Football Federation (FFF) after he led a boycott of several sponsors in March because he did not want to be associated with specific brands.

The FFF struck a £7m deal with online sports betting company Beclic last year, a deal that runs until the 2026 World Cup, and also has ties to KFC, Uber Eats and Coca- Cola.

In Qatar, Mbappe decided not to advertise for Budweiser – the beer company that sponsored the title of the best player in the World Cup match. FIFA was forced to remove the sponsor’s name when giving this award to the French star (and some Muslim stars).

Mbappe is also a shrewd businessman with a keen eye for fashion, having signed slick partnerships with Nike, Electronic Arts, Hublot, Dior and Oakley, to get big streams of income alongside it. £1.2 million a week from wages at PSG.

However, despite his growing popularity, Mbappe is still known by teammates and friends as “Donatello” – a nickname given to him by compatriot Presnel Kimpembe because of his laid-back personality. like a nerd Ninja Turtle.

Those things show the greatness of Mbappe.
