Cristiano Ronaldo, the famous Portuguese footballer, recently received a special watch to celebrate his move to Saudi Arabia to play football. The 37-year-old striker signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Al Nassr, earning an unprecedented £173 million per year, of which £62 million is salary and the remaining £111 million comes from commercial contracts and image rights.

This means that Ronaldo earns an astounding amount of money, with a rate of £6 per second, £357 per minute, £21,400 per hour, £514,000 per day, £3.6m per week, and £14.4m per month.

To commemorate Ronaldo’s arrival, Saudi Arabia presented him with a unique watch made by Jacob & Co, worth £630,000.

The watch, called Caviar Flying Tourbillon “Tsavorite,” features 388 blue Tsavorite gems, the dominant color of Islam and Saudi Arabia, set into 18K white gold components, including the case, buckle, crown, and others.

The strap is made of blue alligator leather. The watch is powered by the JCAA43 movement and has a 42-hour power reserve.

Ronaldo wore the watch during his flight to Saudi Arabia for the official launch. Prior to his move to Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo had been known for wearing an eye-catching green watch.

In addition to this watch, Ronaldo has a collection of watches worth up to £5 million, with Franck Muller being the most expensive at £1.6 million. Ronaldo has also collaborated with Jacob & Co to create a collection of limited edition watches, each engraved with a memorable moment in his career, such as a 2.93 m high bounce before hitting Man United in the Champions League season 2012/13.

Al Nassr, Ronaldo’s new team, recently announced the departure of coach Garcia and the appointment of interim coach Dinko Ilicic from the U19 team to lead the Al Nassr first team until they find a new coach. Ilicic will take charge of the team in the next match against Al Hilal on April 18.
