Through her own generosity, this black woman has earned thousands of dollars.

After helping over 10,000 businesses secure millions in funding and generating thousands for herself as a passive income earner during the pandemic, Ohio-based entrepreneur Shante R. Roddy has created the She Boss Up Grants for women. Now in its third year, the application period runs from November 1-15 and submissions can be completed online.

Roddy is the mastermind behind the Grant Application Training: Step-By-Step Process To Winning Free Money, Win Grants with Ease Masterclass Bundle and The Winning Grant Application Cheat Sheet & Checklist. With nearly 70 thousand subscribers on YouTube and tens of thousands on other social media platforms, Roddy provides insights on everything from grants to erasing student debt to sharing which banks, cities or states are offering relief.

“My mission is to help purpose-driven women entrepreneurs increase their influence, impact, and income to give them more time, results, and freedom to live life without limits,” says Roddy who goes live nearly daily to share her vast knowledge.

As the founder of She Epic Media, host of She Boss Talk and CEO of SHE-Suite Consulting, Roddy has created events such as the She Boss Extravaganza and Elevate Women Business Summit. She also hosts pitch contests and virtual workshops throughout the year.

Firmly believing that there is power when women come together, Roddy has invited other disruptors to join her grant committee this year including Tamara Paylor of Mae Lea Designs Entrepreneur Life Apparel, Rashaunda Williams of Collective Impact, Shachena Gibbs of Real Sisters Raising Women Business Association, Maxine Palmore of Crown Me Lavish Company, Bethanie Nonami of Marley Nonami Incorporated, Nicole Murphy of Barter Black, Dr. Robin Evans of Mastered Communications and Consulting, and Dr. Fatimoh Harris of Excel Professional Grant Writing & Nonprofit Services, LLC.

“I’m proud to lead an online community of women in business, facilitating several initiatives and events to bring us together, break barriers, create opportunities for collaboration and success,” she said. “She Boss Talk has become the go-to resource for small businesses to overcome the impacts of COVID to sustain, pivot and scale. We’ve helped over 10,000-plus small businesses access over $300 million in relief, grants, and other funding and we’ve gone on a nationwide tour to educate small businesses about the Federal Relief program Employee Retention Tax Credit in which millions of small businesses qualify, but can’t access it because no one’s informing them.”

Roddy is also set to go international as she has been invited to share her information in Europe and Africa.
