Elon Musk, 51, and Mark Zuckerberg, 39, were ready for a cage fight but Elon Musk’s mother Maye Musk said “nope”.
The two tech billionaires had been going back and forth online, throwing down the gauntlet, but it seems the fight has been canceled.
Maye Musk, who recently shared a $460 billion lunch with Elon and the world’s second-richest man Bernard Arnault, said the fight isn’t happening.
Tesla and Twitter boss Elon Musk recently tweeted that he would be “up for a cage fight” against the Meta CEO.
Zuckerberg took to his own platform, Instagram to pen his response.
He kept it short and simple, saying “send me location”.

Not one to back down, Musk did just that, suggesting one of the UFC’s top venues, the Vegas Octagon.
“I have this great move that I call ‘The Walrus’, where I just lie on top of my opponent and do nothing,” he said.
But he might need a few more moves under his belt because Zuckerberg is a Jiu-Jitsu fighter who has won legitimate tournaments.

This all came about after Zuckerberg’s Meta reported plans to build a platform to rival Twitter.
Meta’s chief product officer Chris Cox told employees last week that they wanted to create a text-based social media platform that was “sanely run”.
His announcement reportedly drew cheers from the crowd and was seen as a bit of a dig at Musk’s approach to running Twitter.
The responses to the taunts on Twitter have been hilarious, with Fame MMA even offering up their venue.
There’s even a poll asking who would win out of the two, and thousands of people have voted.
However, just as people were getting excited about the fight, Maye Musk, 75, said his son will not be fighting Zuckerberg after all.
“Don’t encourage this fight,” Maye Musk said.
