Pregnancy is a difficult time for all moms around the world. Mothers are about to give 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to amazing beings, so this is the time when they most need love and care. Sadly, Natajuli, a dog who was nine weeks pregnant and carrying 14 puppies inside her stomatch, did not receive a nice treat at that time.

Natajuli was abandoned near the shelter named Instituto Amor em Patas (IAPA) on a cold December day. It was Christmas Eve 22, and she was nearly giving 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡. How heartbreaking!

She was very weak, unable to stand, and frightened when she was discovered by staff at the shelter. As she was so afraid, it took some time to calm her down.

Being such a protective mom, she was very guarded when she first saw the volunteers at the shelter. However, after some time passed, she let her guard down and started interacting with them.

“Look inside her tummy; there might be 13 or 14 babies in there. She’s very weak, so we’re trying to schedule her test for tomorrow,” said a volunteer at the shelter.

When it came to the period when Natajuli finally gave 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to her kids, everything was well prepared. “Tonight will be a very long night for Natajuli and for us. Prepare for her ultrasound to ensure that everything is in order,” shared a shelter member on a social media post.

After successfully giving 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to her lovely 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, Natajuli was brought back to the shelter with the aid required for the kids’ delivery. She was truly brave and succeeded in her job. The very first 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 is a very bright young boy.

To everyone’s surprise, Natajuli gave 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to 14 adorable 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, which was really amazing.

After that, Natalie was taken to the vet with her 14 kids for a quick checkup, ultrasound, and blood tests. She had a red face and must be tired, however, all 14 puppies are big and fat.

“I almost broke down when I saw her smile because her kids are so adorable; I just want to kiss them,” shared a member of the shelter.
