Anne, 39, donned a trench coat and dark boots for her role as Sophie, a woman whose husband has left her for a younger woman.

She meets Nicholas’ character, rocker Hayes Campbell, when she takes her teenage daughter to Coachella after the girl’s dad cancels the trip.

Sparks fly and the two then begin a clandestine affair.

Their lives are turned upside down after they’re discovered and the news goes viral, leaving Sophie and her daughter to deal with the reactions of the rocker’s rabid fans.

Purple Hearts actor Nicholas, 28, was costumed in a black trench and pants for the passionate kiss.

The film is based on the 2017 novel of the same name written by Robinne Green.

The book became a huge hit during the pandemic thanks to word-of-mouth recommendations, it’s theme of forbidden love and the ability for readers to travel around the globe in the pages of the story.

Anne is adding to her behind-the-scenes resume by serving as a producer on the romantic drama which will be released in late 2023 or early 2024 on Amazon Prime.

The 1980s drama about growing up in Queens received a seven minute standing ovation when it debuted at the Cannes Film Festival over the summer.
