ERIK TEN HAG made a big attempt to lift the gloomy mood enveloping Manchester United.
That’s by hosting a family BBQ for his players and their family, with the Dutchman even putting up a bouncy castle at Carrington.

United’s season has not got off to the best start, with three wins and three defeats in their first six league matches.
The Red Devils also lost their Champions League group stage opener to Bayern Munich.
And there has been plenty of turmoil off the pitch too, not least with Jadon Sancho being banished from the first-team squad for a public spat with his boss.
United are down another winger too, with Antony taking time off amid allegations of abuse from an ex-partner.
There continues to be controversy over Mason Greenwood too, with the forward making a shock loan move to Getafe on deadline day.
And star man Marcus Rashford was lucky to escape injury after being caught up in a car crash at the weekend.
But things are starting to look up for United after they pinched a 1-0 win at Burnley on Saturday.
And the following day, Ten Hag welcomed his players and their families to Carrington for a special BBQ treat.

According to the Mail, plenty of healthy grub was rustled up for hungry stars looking to recover from their efforts at Turf Moor.
There were activities for the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to enjoy too, such as face-painting and live entertainment.
Ten Hag even organised a bouncy castle to be set up at United’s training ground.
And the event is believed to have been a huge hit with players, who appreciated Ten Hag taking the time to talk with their loved ones.
But it wasn’t just United’s stars who were wined and dined, with Ten Hag also wanted to thank other members of staff for their hard efforts.
The Dutchman pushed ahead with his BBQ after enjoying a similarly successful event at Old Trafford in August.
However, with the cold weather rolling in, Ten Hag may have to wait until next year before holding another BBQ outdoors.
