The yet-to-be-titled action movie is said to feature a star-studded cast including Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Eiza González. As per reports of Deadline, the filmmaker will be producing the movie alongside Ivan Atkinson and John Friedberg, who worked with him on The Covenant, featuring Gyllenhaal.

But for his upcoming project, Guy Ritchie seems to have already struck a lucrative deal with Lionsgate movie studio. According to reports, the studio had previously picked up domestic rights to Ritchie’s upcoming World War II movie The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, set to release in 2024. And now, Lionsgate seems to be up for Ritchie’s upcoming unnamed film.

As per Deadline, principal photography for Guy Ritchie’s upcoming unnamed project wraps in Spain this week. Following that, Lionsgate seems to have made its power move and landed the domestic distribution rights to the director’s next project featuring Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Expressing his excitement to collaborate with Lionsgate, Guy Ritchie issued the statement which was shared by the news outlet. Further, even Charlotte Koh, EVP, of Lionsgate Acquisitions and Co-Productions, commented on the deal they struck with Ritchie.

While both parties have commented on the deal, further information is yet to be shared about the upcoming unnamed film. The actors involved in Ritchie’s film also appear to be busy with their other projects.
