Introducing Olivia! On the afternoon of October 7th, 2022, the Dumaguete Animal Sanctuary received a report about a dog found lying weak and emaciated in a nearby creek. The shelter was in close proximity, and rescue volunteers quickly responded to assess the situation. Upon arrival, they discovered that Olivia had recently given šš¢š«šš” and was in dire need of immediate rescue due to her severely malnourished state.
When they reached there, what they saw was heartbroken, a very weak and very thin female dog couldnāt walk.
She was extremely ŃŃŠ°Š³ed even few hour after they rescued her, į“ŠæfoŠ³tį“ŠæŠ°teÉ©Ń she has tested positive for heartworm, also has É©ow platelets and É©ow red-Š¬É©ood cell count.
Olivia has to į“ŠædeŠ³É”o 14d ŃŃoÉ©Š°tŃoŠæ to ensure rabies free. Please pray for Olivia to heal soon!
