Chrissy Teigen shares so much about her personal life that everyone thinks they know everything about her. In a recent interview with Glamor UK, John Legend’s wife revealed for the first time that she had breast implants when she was young.
Chrissy Teigen started her career as a swimsuit model. Her work requires many specific and detailed requirements regarding body contours. โYes, I had breast surgery when I was 20 years old. I usually have to wear a swimsuit. Besides, I want my breasts to still be plump and beautiful when I pose lying on my back. But now I have ๐ค๐ฉ๐ช๐ญ๐ฅren. My breasts are full of milk so I’m going crazy” – the beauty shared.
She also added that she is not greedy and only keeps her breasts at the size of a ‘cup’. Chrissy wants her breasts to look round and firm rather than ‘too big or giant’. If they want to remove the prosthetic, doctors only need to remove the implant at the bottom of the chest, but Chrissy cannot have surgery. โYou can replace the implant after 10 years but I don’t want to risk my life with cosmetic surgery. When you have a ๐ค๐ฉ๐ช๐ญ๐ฅ, surely you don’t want to take the risk of dying on the thoracotomy table, right?” – That’s why Chrissy keeps her current status.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have two ๐ค๐ฉ๐ช๐ญ๐ฅren together, Luna and Miles. At first, Chrissy could not adapt to life as a nursing mother. She stands on the scale every morning and evening. The supermodel panicked because her body would definitely get heavier after each meal. โI did it for 8 years and kept giving myself a weight level I couldn’t exceed. I changed with Luna, changed more with Miles. It took me a year to be comfortable with my new figure.” – Chrissy frankly admitted that the house and ๐ค๐ฉ๐ช๐ญ๐ฅren were a mental challenge.
In 2017, the supermodel suffered from depression after giving ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ญ๐ก to ๐๐๐๐ฆ Luna but did not dare to confess to anyone. Now she confidently holds her head high and wants to help other mothers: “Postpartum difficulties do not spare anyone. I used to struggle with it. I can’t control my emotions, I feel selfish, upset, stuck. Now I speak up to let you know that anyone can encounter that situation. You don’t need to feel ashamed or alone. I can’t say I know everything about postpartum depression, because everyone experiences it differently. But one thing I know is that you should openly tell people how you feel.”
