Basketball legend LeBron James and his wife Savannah have been dating since they were both in high school and are now happily married with three 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.

LeBron James and Savannah Brinson attended rival high schools in their hometown of Akron, Ohio. They met when he was 17 and a rising basketball star at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, and she was two years younger and a cheerleader at the rival school. A mutual friend told Savannah that LeBron had asked for her phone number. “I was like, No, I’m going to take his number,” she told Cleveland Magazine in 2018.

“One day, I was sitting around, bored, and it just hit me: I have this guy’s number and I can call him. He seems interesting, let’s see,” Savannah recalls. After a few phone conversations, James invited her to one of his basketball games and the two went out with some friends to a local restaurant. Savannah says their first date was at the Outback Steakhouse.

Although she didn’t think LeBron James would one day be an NBA superstar, the beauty was still wholeheartedly supportive of her boyfriend from the beginning. “I just thought he was a hero on the local team. He was also a normal high school student,” Savannah once told Harper’s Bazaar . “Savannah was there for me when I was practicing basketball in the gym in high school, when I had nothing, when I was still a nobody. In 2003, when LeBron James was 19 and starting his professional basketball career, Savannah, then a high school student, found out she was pregnant. “At that time, I was thinking about how I was going to tell my parents, what would happen to his career. In 2004, their first son, LeBron James Jr., or Bronny, was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧. Three years later, the couple had their second son, Bryce Maximus. In 2011, LeBron James proposed to Savannah at a New Year’s Eve party in France on the occasion of their 10th year of dating. “I feel like the Finals. I thought about it for a while and then one day it just came to me and I think it’s part of growing up. I think this is a woman who has been there for me through thick and thin, for a long time. The two married on September 14, 2013 in San Diego. “He is truly a king who treats his woman like a queen. He cherishes me so much, it’s hard not to love him. His kids, his mom, and everyone around him are amazing. LeBron is extremely humble compared to what he has and has done,” Savannah shared on Cleveland.

In October 2014, LeBron James and his wife had their third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, a daughter named Zhuri Nova. “I have two sons and people always say if you have a daughter it changes you. Three years ago, that happened to my family. She really changed me, she made me a better person, a more dedicated person, a stronger person, a more sensitive person.
