Kourtney Kardashian is taking a look back at her previous award show looks – and even the star herself can admit when she has suffered a fashion flop.

The mom-of-four, 45, poked fun at her 2009 Emmy Award Show outfit during the recent July 4 episode of The Kardashians on Hulu.

Kourtney began her walk down memory lane as she was getting dressed for this year’s Emmy Awards, which she attended with her husband, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.

‘I went to the Emmys 15 years ago, and the look was very different,’ Kourtney recalled during the episode.

‘I just wore this random gray — I don’t even know the designer, I don’t even know where I got it or how I even got dressed,’ she joked.

The outfit she was referencing from 2009 was a long, strapless, gray chiffon dress, which ruching near the bust.

At the time, the Lemme founder was pregnant with her first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, son Mason, who is now 14.

She wore her hair in long, loose curls and accessorized with a chunky, silver embellished bangle.

During the episode, Kourtney pulled up a photo from the 2009 red carpet, where she was posing next to sister Kim.

She decided to give Kim a ring on FaceTime, as they joked about their fashion choices at the time.

Kourtney remembered that she had gone to the awards show as Kim’s plus-one, who was invited by Ryan Seacrest – but after the red carpet was over, she recalled going straight home.

‘It was like a dark gray dress with this ugly bangle,’ Kourtney told Kim about her dress of choice at the time.

‘And I wore like a white, off-the-shoulder dress with a blue-ish eye, and we got ready in your condo right down the street in Calabasas in your kitchen,’ Kim remembered.

Now, things looked drastically different for the stars, as Kourtney was getting ready to head to to the 2024 Emmy Awards, where her husband would be performing for the star-studded audience.

This year, she didn’t go with a gray dress, but instead a chic black pantsuit with satin detailing.

Her husband, Barker, wore a matching suit.

It was one of their first appearances after Kourtney gave 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 boy Rocky Thirteen Barker, who was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 on November 1.

Over the past few years, the star had been open about her fertility journey, as she and her husband went through many rounds of IVF in hopes of being able to conceive.

‘We stopped doing IVF probably two months before our wedding and so it took a year for all those hormones and chemicals to get out of my system,’ Kourtney revealed on last season of The Kardashians, per InStyle.

‘We were not trying whatsoever. I wasn’t even checking my ovulation anymore. We decided to put it in God’s hands and thought it was just not happening. We were accepting of it and then… God’s plan,’ she shared.

After going through fertility struggles, Kourtney was able to conceive naturally – on Valentine’s Day, to be precise.

But her pregnancy was not necessarily an easy one, as she had to undergo emergency fetal surgery in her third trimester, as they found fluid in Rocky’s lungs.

Though, thankfully, everything went well during her surgery, and she was placed on bedrest.

She spoke about the experience during this season of their reality show.

‘It’s super rare, that this [is] the condition that he had but it’s also super rare and lucky that we caught it,’ Kourtney shared.

‘And thank you, God, for this successful surgery. I’m honestly just so grateful, I have no words,’ she gushed with relief at the time.
