King Richard’s wife broke down in tears when she managed to save Serena Williams’ crumbling 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood home from auction

“KING” Richard Williams’ wife Lakeisha cried during a private meeting where she managed to save tennis star Serena’s 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood home from auction and pay off her huge debts.

The former tennis coach had the Florida property “stolen” from him when his spouse forged his signature and transferred the deed to take out a huge loan she couldn’t pay back.

She claimed in court documents she did so to put food on the table for her and their 12-year-old son Dylan because he’d left her with nothing, which Richard denied.

He filed for divorce in 2017 after seven years of marriage and moved into a new home, which is in Serena’s name, just minutes away from his old property.

But Richard called it off this year amid claims the pair were back together and happily raising their son.

According to court documents, Lakeisha’s debt was still around $436,113 when the auction was announced, and the proceeds from the house sale were set to go to more than 20 creditors.

In a shock twist, she managed to mysteriously satisfy the debt and met with Richard, Chavoita, and lawyers.

A new warranty deed was filed stating that the four-bed property was transferred to a company called Hardy Firm LLC.

The LLC is registered with an agent and CEO named Darrious Christian, based in Fort Lauderdale, who has connections with Lakeisha’s so-called family.

Chavoita, who previously accused Lakeisha of elder abuse, told The U.S. Sun he is now amicable with her as Richard has given her a second chance.

“He was in good health, his regular funny, jokey self,” he said of the meeting earlier this week.

“He actually set it up where Keisha and I could hang out for a couple of hours.

“To be honest, she seems very different. She was even crying in the office saving the house.

“I won’t lie, the house itself, a lot of work needs doing on that place. But they’re definitely not selling it. He wants to keep it. I already know that.

“My dad loves the house. It’s very sentimental to him.”

Richard, 82, bought the property with Serena and Venus’s mother Oracene for $355,000 in 1995, before divorcing her seven years later.

She was even crying in the office saving the house. It seems like a different her.”

It was last said to be worth around $1.4 million, but could now only go for half due to the work it needs doing to it.

The pair are now said to be happily living together at his new property just 16 miles away from the house where he taught Serena and Venus on two tennis courts, which are still there to this day.

Photos first shown by The U.S. Sun revealed how shambolic the estate had become.

The roof of the main home looked like it had been haphazardly repaired dozens of times while there was an abandoned truck on the property and crumbling outbuildings.

It is allegedly uninsurable with the property only worth half of its true value of $1.4 million.

Meanwhile, Chavoita initially said his dad called off his divorce as he was nervous to appear in court after three strokes and needed time to prepare, which wasn’t granted.

But it has since emerged that he’s decided to give his marriage another go, which his son is now supporting.

“I’m not sure what’s going on with those two. My dad’s like the wind at times. I’ve been buried in my own world,” he told The U.S. Sun.

“But everybody was pretty happy so that’s just how I see it right now.

“It’s not the same energy when he spoke to you, not at all.

“If he changes his mind and does want a divorce he can just call me and tell me. The lawyer’s on standby.

“I don’t know if this is the ending or the beginning for those two. But my dad is happy and that’s all that matters.”

The U.S. Sun reached out to Lakeisha and her lawyers for further comment but did not hear back.

Lakeisha’s divorce attorney Sara Lawrence previously said, “Richard Dove Williams and his wife Lakeisha Williams have a son and are raising him together.

“They are a family. Lakeisha works and Richard often takes care of their son.

“Lakeshia and Richard Williams have a romantic and 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual relationship. With their son, they are a family. They live together. They go on family trips to Disney together.”

Lakeisha, 45, last shared a photograph on her Instagram of the family in March 2023, showing Richard driving and their son Dylan, 12, in the back seat.

She captioned the happy snap, “The Williams,” with a heart face emoji, showing her beaming.
