“Angelina Jolie was shocked and worried when she received the phone call about Pax Thien’s accident.”
On July 29, Pax Thien had a serious accident while riding an electric bike on the streets of Los Angeles without a helmet, resulting in a head injury and heavy bleeding.
A source said that the Vietnamese adopted son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is still recovering after being transferred from the intensive care unit on August 5. The 20-year-old man is considered “very lucky” because things could have been much worse because Pax Thien was not wearing a helmet while on the road.
“Angelina Jolie was shocked and worried when she received the phone call about the accident,” the source shared with PEOPLE, affirming that the actress’s five remaining 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren are helping Pax Thien as much as possible. The Vietnamese-American man suffered complex injuries and will need a long time to treat and recover.
Both Angelina Jolie and Pax Thien are grateful to the medical team for providing timely emergency care to save Pax Thien’s life and taking good care of him. The actress was always by her son’s side during Pax Thien’s hospital stay, and his siblings often visited him. Meanwhile, Pax Thien refused to visit and contact his adoptive father, which made Brad Pitt extremely heartbroken.
Recently, Pax Thien and Maddox starred in a new film directed by Angelina Jolie called Without Blood, which is scheduled to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival this September.
