Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are both planning to promote their new films at the Venice Film Festival. This is the first time they have attended an event together since their split.
On August 2, Daily Mail reported that Angelina Jolie is expected to attend the Venice Film Festival, held in Venice (Italy), in September to promote the film Maria. In the film, the 1975-𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 action star plays opera legend Maria Callas. The film starring Angelina is on the list of contenders for the Golden Lion award.
Coincidentally, Brad Pitt also planned to attend the film festival around the same time. He is promoting the 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁er film Wolfs, co-starring with George Clooney. Unlike his ex-wife, Brad’s film does not have the pressure of competition.
What’s more interesting is that they stayed at the same hotel, Cipriani, during their stay in Venice.

However, sources say that due to the awkward relationship between the two Mr. and Mrs. Smith stars, their schedules were arranged so that they would not appear at the festival at the same time. They were also arranged to not run into each other in the hotel.
However, it is difficult to predict every situation. No one can guarantee that they will not accidentally see each other in some unexpected situation. If it really happens, it will be one of the most awkward moments in Hollywood and become a hot topic in the newspapers.
The former couple have not appeared at the same event since their split in 2016. Angelina has barely attended red carpet events in Los Angeles, despite living there with her six 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren. The Venice Film Festival marks the first time this has happened in eight years. The event is scheduled to take place from August 28 to September 7.
The two previously appeared together at the 2007 Venice Film Festival to support Brad’s film, The Assassination of Jessie James by the Coward Robert Ford.
The news comes amid Brad Pitt’s apparent rebuke of his ex-wife for Pax Thien’s traffic accident, which left him hospitalized for several days. According to a close friend, the actor, 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in 1963, believes that his adopted son of Vietnamese descent should not ride an electric bike without a helmet, but should instead sit in a car.
Additionally, the source said Brad tried to contact Pax Thien to ask about the situation but the 21-year-old refused to answer the phone. This made the Oscar-winning star sad and worried.

Angelina and Brad are also in a tense legal battle over their joint property in France, the Château Miraval estate. On July 17, lawyer Paul Murphy, on behalf of the Maleficent actress, issued an “ultimatum” to Brad, asking him to drop the lawsuit that has been going on since 2021 so that the family can focus on the healing process after the divorce.
“Unless Mr. Pitt withdraws the lawsuit, Angelina has no choice but to collect the necessary evidence to prove that his allegations are false,” Murphy emphasized.
Brad Pitt has not officially responded to his ex-wife’s warning. However, a source from the Daily Mail said the actor is determined to pursue the lawsuit. He also said that his ex-wife did so because of the high possibility of her failing.
