Kylor Kelley and Quincy Olivari Sign with the Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed center Kylor Kelley and guard Quincy Olivari. Terms of the contracts were not released.

Kelley (7’0”, 215) has appeared in 64 career NBA G League games (31 starts) across three seasons with the Maine Celtics (2023-24), Raptors 905 (2022-23) and Austin Spurs (2020-21), averaging 7.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.9 blocks in 17.5 minutes. For the Celtics, the 26-year-old appeared in 29 games (16 starts) and averaged 8.4 points on 68.6 percent shooting from the field, 6.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.9 blocks in 22.1 minutes. Kelley, who was named to the 2024 NBA G League All-Defensive Team, finished as the regular season league leader in rejections per game and his 105 total blocks marked the most in a single season in team history. Kelley also competed internationally in Canada (2022-23), Denmark (2022-23) and England (2021-22).

Collegiately, he played for Oregon State University (2018-20), Lane Community College (2017-18) and Northwest Christian University (2015-17). As a senior at OSU, he appeared in 31 games (all starts) and averaged 11.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in 29.1 minutes, leading the way to his second consecutive Pac-12 All-Defensive Team selection. That season, Kelley finished first in the league and second nationally in rejections per game. The Oregon native recently played for the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 2024 Summer League team.Olivari (6’3”, 200) begins his professional career following four collegiate seasons at Xavier University (2023-24) and Rice University (2019-23). In his lone season as a Musketeer, Olivari appeared in 34 games (all starts) and averaged 19.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals in 32.2 minutes.

He finished the season as the Big East’s leader in 3-point field goal percentage (.409) and was voted Big East Honorable Mention for his play. Olivari recently played for the Lakers’ 2024 Summer League team, competing in both the California Classic and NBA 2K25 Summer League. Olivari recorded 20 points (7-15 FG, 6-13 3PT), three rebounds and one steal in 23 minutes versus the Chicago Bulls in the team’s final game in Las Vegas.
