As many brothers do, however, the pair had a few scrapes as kids.
On one such occasion, Jason punched his little brother after Travis had taken exception to being fouled while playing basketball.
“We’re out in the backyard and he starts just driving and doing these stupid shots,” he told Shaquille O’Neal during an appearance on The Big Podcast.
“He’s making it every single time and I can’t do anything to stop it. So I resort to fouling him, the only way I know how to stop it.
“So he says ‘That’s bulls***, that’s a foul.’ I’m like ‘I don’t see any refs out here, I don’t see anyone calling it.’
“He takes the ball, throws it at me, it goes in the house. I go in there, I grab him by the shoulder and I punch him.”
Elaborating on the incident, Kelce revealed that his brother didn’t take the punch lightly.
“Listen, we would fight every time,’ he continued. “This was only the second time I’d ever punched him.
“I don’t know how it got that heated. Punched him in the face. Every time before that, he would cry or whatever.
“He took this punch, scooped me up off my feet and slammed me on the kitchen floor so hard the oven got knocked off the tracks.

“I get up, we’re in a full-on fist fight.”
Despite their adolescent antics, the pair have remained close throughout their illustrious NFL careers and even host their New Heights Podcast.

“There is no chance I’d be here without the bond Travis and I share, Jason admitted at the time.

“It made me stronger, tougher, smarter, and it taught me the values of cooperation, loyalty, patience, and understanding.
“It’s only too poetic I found my career being fulfilled in the City of Brotherly Love. I knew that relationship all too well.”
Jason played for the Eagles for his entire NFL career between 2011 and 2023, winning Super Bowl LII.
After Patrick Mahomes’ amazing behind-the-back pass to Chiefs tight end Kelce over the weekend, Jason cheekily mocked his little brother.
Mahomes, 28, had suggested that he played the pass “out of spite” – accusing Kelce of running the wrong route.
“If Pat starts throwing behind the back passes every time Travis runs the wrong route, this may b
