Diddy’s legal storm revives Kanye West’s “fed” claims, while Candace Owens calls out LeBron James for ghosting the drama.

Hollywood and controversies are a match made in hell. As we all know by now, Diddy, aka Sean Combs, has found himself drowning in one. The rapper has been accused of some serious allegations, including kidnapping and coercing women into s-xual activities. The lawsuits began when his long-time partner, Cassie Ventura, sued him in 2023 alleging abuse at the hands of Diddy. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges. Still, Diddy is sinking into quicksand at a rapid speed as more and more updates emerge.

American commentator Candace Owens, who is often described as conservative, sat down on her YouTube channel to discuss the controversy that has everyone shocked to their core. Doing so, she extended an acknowledging nod towards rapper Kanye West for his old comments about Diddy as she brought up some alarming details that has also roped LeBron James into the fiasco.

Kanye West’s Comments on Diddy Resurface

Back in October 2022, Kanye West who is now legally known as Ye, appeared for a discussion on the Drink Champs podcast. There, he held no punches back as he criticized his music rival Diddy left and right.

Diddy has had some serious allegations on his back for a long time and Ye apparently wasn’t going to be fooled. Talking about Diddy/Sean Combs on the podcast, Ye labeled him as a “fed.”

Apparently, there are few celebrities who make deals with law enforcement to stay out of jail themselves, and in return, they must throw others under the bus.

The podcast episode was deleted shortly after but a clip resurfaced on social media because, well, nothing is really ever gone from the Internet, is it? In the clip, Ye stated,

The reason why you gotta talk is because you did a deal, you f*****g fed! That’s why you’ve gotta come at me, because part of the deal for you to be able to do all that and get out of jail is that you promised that you are gonna go pull my card.

Of course, no one really paid any attention to Ye’s words back then but it looks like he is garnering support for his comments now, including that of Candace Owens.

Candace Owens Brings Up Ye’s Allegations Against Diddy

Owens went live on her YouTube recently and she began her video with a bang. She started off with an unwavering acknowledgment of Ye stating that the rapper has “a way with words.”

She pointed out how his thoughts usually get him in dire trouble when he says them out loud and people quickly dismiss his words calling them “completely crazy.” However, Owens believes that the world is currently at the point where Ye’s words from before finally make sense. She stated,

There’s something about Kanye West. He has a way with words. Gets himself into a lot of trouble and then when you revisit his words you start to realize the he was making a lot of sense when you thought that he sounded completely crazy. And currently, we are in that stage where a lot that Kanye West said years ago is aging like fine wine.

She then brought up his comments about how Diddy being a “fed” allows him to escape the law’s hold despite his actions.

Owens’ video then took a turn when she recalled Ye listing out a bunch of celebrities and athletes who were controlled, including basketballer LeBron James.

In the clip shown in the video, Ye can be seen stating,

They can’t control me. They can control Shaq, they can control Charles Barkley, they could control LeBron James, they can control Jay-Z and Beyonce. But they can’t control me.

Owens called James out for not speaking up about Diddy’s controversy given that he speaks out for “every other topic.” She added that since the athlete is always “lecturing” people even when “nobody asks his opinion,” why has he stayed silent on his “boy.”

James and Diddy have been friends for a while and Diddy’s latest mess puts his friend in a bad spot, especially thanks to Ye’s comments resurfacing after all these years.
