CROSS Official Trailer (2024)

“He’s not going to stop unless I make him stop.” Prime Video has unveiled the full official trailer for their new crime thriller series titled Cross, the latest adaptation from James Patterson’s thriller novels. Cross is an adaptation of the Alex Cross series, and will be streaming in 2024. Aldis Hodge (seen in Black AdamCity On A HillOne Night In Miami, “Leverage”, “Underground”) stars as Alex Cross – detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ers and their victims, in order to identify—and ultimately capture—the murderers. The series is created by producer and writer Ben Watkins (of “Burn Notice”, “Hand of God”), and produced by Paramount Television Studios & Skydance Television. The main cast also includes Isaiah MustafaJuanita JenningsAlona TalSamantha WalkesCaleb ElijahMelody HurdEloise MumfordRyan EggoldMercedes de la Zerda, plus Jennifer Wigmore as Chief Anderson. It’s definitely not a comedy series, this looks seriously dark and unsettling with some crazy twists and turns. Maybe even supernatural? I’m just really glad to see Aldis Hodge in a proper leading role.

Here’s the main official trailer (+ poster) for Prime Video’s series Cross, direct from PV’s YouTube:

Alex Cross (Hodge) is a detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ers and their victims, in order to identify—and ultimately capture—the murderers. Cross is brilliant, flawed, and full of contradictions. A doting father and family man, Cross is single-minded to the point of obsession when he hunts 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ers. He is desperate for love, but his wife’s murder has left him too damaged to receive it. Cross is a series created and showrun by writer Ben Watkins of “Burn Notice”, “Hand of God”, and New York Undercover previously. Based on the book series of the same name by James Patterson. With episodes directed by Craig Siebels & Nzingha Stewart. Produced by Paramount Television and Skydance Television. Executive produced by Nzingha Stewart, Bill Bost, Jim Dunn, David Ellison, Sam Ernst, Dana Goldberg, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, Marcy Ross, Patrick Santa, Craig Siebels, Matt Thunell, and Ben Watkins. Amazon debuts this new Cross series streaming on Prime Video starting November 14th, 2024.
