LeBron James is facing scrutiny over his relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs after a video of him hyping the rapper’s parties has resurfaced.

In the clip, the basketball player seemingly admitted to being a regular at the now-infamous parties, although his relationship with Diddy remains unclear.

He had previously unfollowed Diddy on Instagram in May, coinciding with growing rumors about the rapper being investigated.

Since Diddy’s arrest, LeBron James has remained silent, choosing not to comment, much like many other celebrities linked to Diddy.

Amid Diddy’s legal troubles, a video of James raving about Diddy’s party has resurfaced online.

“Ain’t no party like a Diddy party,” the Los Angeles Lakers star said in the four-year-old livestream clip.

While the clip isn’t more than a confirmation that the two were in one another’s social circles at some point, some netizens believe it implicates James in the ongoing controversy surrounding Diddy.

One user commented, “It’s not looking good for LeBron James after Diddy was arrested,” adding tag, “#IYKYK.”

Another person wrote, “Did LeBron James have anything to do with Diddy and the freak offs? Feds found 15 years of recordings from Miami and L.A. and, just so happens, places LeBron called home, too. Could be coincidence? We will all find out soon. I hope.”

However, several others on social media noted that not everyone affiliated with Diddy or who was at his popular parties should be accused of committing a crime based on short video clips or photographs.

Despite social media users’ speculations, federal prosecutors did not name the basketballer in their indictment against Diddy and have not referenced him at any point.

However, that does not eliminate the possibility of James being subpoenaed in the future if he had a relationship with the rapper relevant to his ongoing case.

In the meantime, James is yet to comment on Diddy’s arrest but has long since distanced himself from the rapper in the wake of rumors about him being investigated.

Back in May, the power forward unfollowed the music mogul on Instagram, a move that raised eyebrows at the time.

Around the same time, a 2016 surveillance video of Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, surfaced.

While several celebrities came out in support of Cassie, James chose to remain silent and distance himself from the controversy.

Diddy and Cassie shared a relationship that lasted over a decade, ultimately ending in 2018.

Last year, the singer filed a lawsuit against the rapper, where she claimed that he subjected her to a “cycle of abuse, violence, and 𝓈ℯ𝓍 trafficking” for the length of the relationship.”

According to a source, Cassie’s silence amid Diddy’s legal woes is intentional, as she is still in “pain” over her experience and is also “triggered” by the revelations that have come with the rapper’s arrest.

“Cassie is taking time away to focus on her peace because the details of the case are triggering,” said the insider, per the Daily Mail.

She is also said to be undergoing “therapy” with her husband, apparently to help her process her experiences with Diddy.

Diddy Was Recently Accused Of Rape & Selling Video Of Assault By Another Alleged Victim

Diddy’s legal troubles continue to mount, with yet another lawsuit filed against the rapper by one of his alleged victims.

The victim, identified as Thalia Graves, alleged in her complaint that the rapper, along with his associate Joseph Sherman, engaged in non-consensual 𝓈ℯ𝓍 with her at the Bad Boy Records studio in New York City back in 2001.

“[Graves] was twenty-five at the time and dating one of Combs’ employees, a relationship that Combs exploited to lure [Graves] into meeting him and Sherman alone,” the suit reads, per Deadline.

After the assault incident, Diddy and his co-conspirator allegedly pressured Graves to stay “silent” with threats of “repercussions,” including the possibility of her “losing custody of her son” if she ever revealed the assault.

Since Graves was quite aware of their “enormous power in the industry,” she was forced to comply with their wishes to prevent them from following through on their threats.

In addition to the complaint, Graves spoke out against the rapper in a press conference with her attorney, Gloria Allred.

According to The Wrap, she remarked that the pain from the assault left scars that “may never fully heal,” and the “hardest parts” are the “shame and the guilt,” which have affected her “ability to function properly.”

She pointed out that she has endured physical and emotional problems since the incident, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual discomfort.

Graves concluded, “The combination of physical and emotional pain has created a cycle of suffering from which it is so hard to break free.”

It is unclear whether Graves’ accusation will play a part in Diddy’s 𝓈ℯ𝓍 crimes trial. The rapper is being held in a detention facility before his trial date.
