Jude Bellingham has received criticism for his close relationship with businesswoman and reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
According to Marca, many members of Real Madrid’s board of directors are unhappy that Bellingham is “beyond normal” close to Kim Kardashian. The English midfielder has recently even become the face of “Kim Kardashian’s super-butt” brand.
Bellingham had a controversial kiss with Kim Kardashian in August. Real Madrid’s board expressed concern that the player could be distracted on the pitch when being close to the controversial beauty.
David Beckham has had to defend him. “As long as it doesn’t affect him on the pitch, what happens off the pitch is secondary because if Jude’s level is good, he will have many opportunities to sign a big contract,” Beckham assessed. “Bellingham has the support of his family and his brother. Every decision he makes is the right one.”
El Pais said that up to now, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has not spoken out or commented on Bellingham’s life off the field. However, many other members of “Los Blancos” are not happy that the club star is close to Kim Kardashian, in the context of the team going through a storm of injuries.
Bellingham has not been in good form since the beginning of the season. The English star has also suffered from a few minor injuries, leading to a decline in form. Coach Carlo Ancelotti is said to want the “Three Lions” player to focus fully on his performance on the field.
Kim Kardashian and her son Saint have been regulars at the Bernabeu since the start of the year. In August, she attended Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over Valladolid in the second round of La Liga. Kim later posed for a photo with Vinicius Jr, David Alaba and Bellingham.
