Priyanka and Nick exchanged vows in a Christian ceremony on Saturday and in Hindu tradition on Sunday. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas said ‘I do’ in a fairytale Christian wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur on December 1. Priyanka and Nick have finally become man and wife after they made their first public appearance together at Met Gala 2017. After exchanging wedding vows as per Catholic rituals, Nick and Priyanka will now tie the knot according to Hindu traditions.
According to the People magazine, groom’s father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr, officiated the wedding, in which the couple exchanged wedding bands by famed jeweller Chopard. Priyanka, who is a style diva herself chose Ralph Lauren creation for her special day. She wore a custom-made wedding gown from the designer, while the groom wore a custom Purple Label tuxedo. Special ones at the party were also dressed in Ralph Lauren.
Meanwhile, the couple also did a photo shoot for Vogue’s first-ever digital cover. In a video shared by the magazine, PeeCee can be seen dancing to Jonas’ hit track Close. An Instagram page of Priyanka Chopra also shared some behind-the-scenes snaps.
Their entire wedding festivity will be a private affair and no one will be allowed to share pictures on social media. Yesterday, the couple posted their mehendi ceremony pictures and we just can’t take our eyes off from them. While PeeCee looked ethereal in multi-coloured ensemble from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Nick wore an ‘aqua bakhiya kurta’ with white pyjama and golden mojaris. Nick Jonas also shared the pictures on his Twitter and wrote, ”An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed.”
