Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s daughter, Malti Marie, turned 2 last month, and now the little one is celebrating another milestone: her first hike. Being a beloved past time of L.A. residents, Malti’s trek through Topanga State Park this week makes her an official Angeleno, and her mom took to Instagram to share content from the excursion.

On Wednesday, Chopra shared the sweetest photo dump to Instagram capturing the mother-daughter bonding activity. In the first slide of the carousel, Malti can be seen wearing a cheetah-print hoodie, black pants, and matching boots while standing on a wood-and-iron bridge gazing into the greenery. A separate image in the gallery shows Malti getting up and close and personal with the muddy terrain next to a friend. In another snap, the group takes a juice box break as they sit along the path. Chopra also shared a few adorable videos of Malti walking along the bridge and the trail, as well as one of Chopra holding Malti’s tiny hand next to the car window.

“The magic of nature,” Chopra captioned the photos. “Her first hike. She touched everything, jumped in puddles till she was muddy till her knees. To witness her in real time experiencing everything for the first time … is just her magic dust that she sprinkles in my life every day. ❤️😍🙏🏽”

Maltie’s dad (and Chopra’s hubby) gave a sweet nod to his girls by leaving a couple of heart-eye emoji in the comments section.

Last week, Chopra shared another family photo dump to commemorate Valentine’s Day, which featured a selfie with Jonas, a pic of Malti’s hand covered in sparkles, and the 2-year-old wearing a festive heart dress and white beret.
