Kim Kardashian slammed over Tesla robot and Elon Musk friendship: ‘We know she voted for Trump!’

Kim Kardashian is facing flak online after promoting Elon Musk’s products, with some saying that her association with the Tesla billionaire was a signal she was supporting President-elect Donald Trump.

Kardashian, 44, has made headlines for a series of social media posts alongside robots made by Musk’s companies and a custom Tesla Model S car she owns.

Many online commenters interpreted the posts as a show of support for the incoming Republican president, who Musk has formed an alliance with in recent months, donating $200 million toward his presidential campaign and getting appointed to co-chair a board looking to shrink the size of the federal government.

‘Kim and her stupid robot is all I need to see to know she voted for Trump,’ one user said, while another said that ‘Kim Kardashian confirming she voted for Trump via Tesla products is so f***ing funny.’

One user surmised that ‘basically Kim kardashian is part of the Trump administration,’ while another wrote, ‘Glazing trump and Elon a little too hard here Kimberly.’

Some users called for a boycott of Kardashian’s clothing brand Skims amid frustration toward her coziness with Musk, and by association, Trump.

‘Kim Kardashian is literally a Trump supporter, yet yall still buying skims?’ said one user.

Another asked, ‘Women who support kim k? Which is more important ya womanhood or skims? Make her feel it!… we know who she voted for now.’

One user wrote on the thread, ‘I’m here for the comments of libs melting down.’

The posts also attracted comments criticizing Kardashian for issues not relating to potential political affiliations.

‘Imagine taking pictures like this a 44 years old,’ one user said of the racy set of shots involving the Tesla.

Another made reference to Kardashian’s advocacy for Erik and Lyle Menendez, writing, ‘I thought you only made friends with convicted murderers you try to set free.’

Going topless under a puffy black jacket, The Kardashians star sat on the robot’s lap as they posed in the driver’s seat of her custom Tesla Model S car in the series of images posted Tuesday.

Kardashian wore sheer, nude-toned tights with black stockings and a garter belt printed on them – creating the illusion that she wasn’t wearing any underwear.

Kardashian crouched down beside the pricey vehicle in her 𝓈ℯ𝓍y look while the robot relaxed in the driver’s seat with one foot resting on Kim’s driveway.

One shot, which she shared to Instagram on Tuesday, captured Kardashian from the neck down as the robot appeared to touch her thigh.

Another showed Kardashian and the robot holding hands inside the luxury electric car.

Fans of Kardashian were left shocked by the photoshoot, with many calling it ’embarrassing’ and ‘scary.’

Some voiced that they found the ‘𝓈ℯ𝓍ualization’ of the robot to be ‘disturbing.’

Meanwhile, others thought the shoot was funny and joked that Kim finally found her ‘soulmate.’

Kardashian had a creepy interaction with her Tesla bot earlier this week, which she shared in a video posted to Instagram on Monday.

Kardashian was filmed waving at the robot – who waved back – before asking the bot to make a heart shape with their hands.

Kardashian — who recently went makeup-free on social media — was shocked as the robot was able to complete the gesture.

The robot mimed a running motion, did a hula dance and placed a hand near its head when asked how tall it is.

Kardashian asked the robot to play rock paper scissors – with the machine duly complying.

The star is a noted fan of the Tesla brand and is often snapped in her cybertruck.

It is not known if the robot was loaned to her or she had purchased or been gifted the item.

Just days ago the star was cruising down the PCH in her brand-new futuristic ride on Thursday when a cop pulled her over for her tinted front windshield, sources told TMZ.

Apparently, the tint was too dark for California‘s vehicle regulations.

Insiders said that Kardashian ‘kept it cool’ with the cops, even after being cited.

The fix-it ticket means she can avoid a fine as long as she gets the tint corrected and shows up at the sheriff’s station to prove it.

This isn’t Kardashian’s first run-in with window tinting issues. Back in 2013, she got a warning for dark windows in a different vehicle while driving through Calabasas, according to TMZ.

Kardashian added her first Cybertruck to her collection in February 2024, followed by a sleek matte black version in May.

The robot, which is intended for industrial and domestic uses, debuted at AI Day on September 30 after first being announced at AI Day in August 2021.

‘Tesla Bots are initially positioned to replace people in repetitive, boring, and dangerous tasks.

But the vision is for them to serve millions of households, such as cooking, mowing lawns, and caring for the elderly,’ Musk wrote in an essay published in China Cyberspace magazine.

But many social media users are now drawing comparisons to the 2004 Sci-fi movie I, Robot set in 2035, after seeing the clip of Musk’s droids.

Set in Chicago, the action film shows highly intelligent robots filling public service positions throughout the world, operating under three laws to keep humans safe.

Several concerned viewers of Musk’s video left comments likening the Optimus droids to the movie.

‘Am I the only one who remembers iRobot?’ wrote one X, formerly Twitter, user.

‘iRobot just became reality,’ warned another. A third added: ‘Somebody call Detective Spooner! I’m getting i, Robot chills.’

Said another user, ‘No, thank you. I saw ‘I, Robot.’

A fifth chimed in: ‘We already saw this movie. Wasn’t it ‘I, Robot’ with Will Smith. Doesn’t end well.’

Musk in 2022 explained that the android, named Tesla bot at the time, was deliberately designed that way.

‘The Tesla Bot is close to the height and weight of an adult, can carry or pick up heavy objects, walk fast in small steps, and the screen on its face is an interactive interface for communication with people.

‘You may wonder why we designed this robot with legs. Because human society is based on the interaction of a bipedal humanoid with two arms and ten fingers.

He added: ‘So if we want a robot to adapt to its environment and be able to do what humans do, it has to be roughly the same size, shape, and capabilities as a human.’
