50 Cent sold his most luxurious mansion to donate to charity

Rapper 50 Cent has recently made headlines for selling his sprawling mansion in Farmington, Connecticut. The impressive property boasts 21 bedrooms and 25 bathrooms.

However, the sale price of $3 million raised eyebrows, as it marked a substantial decrease of $15.5 million from the amount he initially invested in it 12 years ago. What’s noteworthy is that 50 Cent decided to generously donate the entire $3 million from the sale to his G-Unity Foundation.

Sources close to the 43-year-old artist revealed to TMZ that he made the conscious choice to channel the proceeds into his foundation. This organization is dedicated to empowering low-income communities by fostering economic growth through grants and initiatives.

Originally known by his 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 name Curtis James Jackson III, the In da Club rapper acquired the property for a staggering $18.5 million back in 2007, purchasing it from its previous owner, Mike Tyson.

The mansion is adorned with an array of lavish features, including a professionally equipped game room, a gymnasium, a deluxe home theater, an infinity pool, a state-of-the-art recording studio, a room fitted with a green screen, a luxurious grotto reminiscent of the Playboy mansion, and even a nightclub.

Over the years, the Candy Shop rapper had made multiple attempts to sell the sprawling residence, situated on a vast 17-acre expanse. In his endeavors to find a buyer, he had progressively lowered the asking price, demonstrating his determination to part ways with the property.

Ultimately, 50 Cent’s decision to sell his Farmington mansion and contribute the entire sale proceeds to his G-Unity Foundation showcases not only his business acumen but also his commitment to making a positive impact on underserved communities.
