Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas continue the newly-wedded bliss at Vanity Fair Cannes party

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas may have had multiple wedding ceremonies already but that has not stopped them from revisiting the theme at the 72nd annual Cannes Films Festival.

The newlyweds, who tied the knot late last year, took inspiration from their lavish big day as they took to the Vanity Fair party dripping in sauce – not literally, of course.

The dish we are talking about here is merely metaphorically and points out that the pair, just like their weddings, showed up and showed off when it came to their outfit choices.

The Baywatch actress, 36, arrived at the event on Saturday in thigh-high split chainmail dress while her husband Nick, 26, wore a caramel-coloured blazer and straight-legged black trousers.

The pair even took things up a notch as they posed up a storm for photographers at the Hotel Martinez, in France on Saturday.

Nickyanka (see what we did there?) were later spotted, in different outfits, returning to the hotel balcony to indulge in a tasty-looking pizza feast in full of paparazzi.

Clearly still basking in their honeymoon phase the Bollywood star could not help but feed the Jonas Brothers singer a bit of her junk food.

Love is in their air

The 2019 Cannes Film Festival takes place at the iconic Palais des Festivals from Tuesday until 25 May.

Priyanka is at the film festival to promote 5B, a documentary about AIDS nurses in 80s San Francisco.

The couple recently walked the pink carpet of the Met Gala together, fully embracing the theme, Camp: Notes On Fashion.

Nickyanka love to laugh

Priyanka recently said the event was fun because she was attending with her ‘best friend’, but admitted their first outing to the event in 2017 as a couple was ‘so awkward’.

‘We didn’t know each other,’ she told People. ‘We were vibing.’

Who knew just two years later they’d be married? Certainly not Priyanka, as she has admitted she misread him when they first met: ‘I didn’t think that this is what it [would’ve] turned out to be, and that’s maybe that’s my fault, I judged a book by its cover.’
