Out with the old and in with the new ‘do for Patrick Mahomes.
The star Chiefs quarterback, 29, sported a shorter haircut over the weekend at the 4th 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day celebrations of his and Brittany Mahomes’ eldest 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, daughter Sterling Skye, as captured in a new Instagram video.
Mahomes trimmed his longer locks before the “Bluey”-themed gathering, which took place less than a month after Kansas City’s crushing Super Bowl 2025 loss to the Eagles.

The Chiefs entered the championship contest on the cusp of history with the shot at a Super Bowl three-peat.
That dream quickly unraveled once the game got underway and Philadelphia took a commanding 24-0 halftime lead on Feb. 9.
Mahomes, chasing his fourth Super Bowl win with the Chiefs, had a nightmarish first half when he turned the ball over twice, including a pick-six.

Although he helped put the Chiefs on the board in the second half, it was way too little too late as Philadelphia won its second-ever Super Bowl with a resounding 40-22 victory.
Mahomes went 21-of-32 for 257 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
With the 2024 season in the rearview mirror, those close to Mahomes believe the two-time league MVP will be on a “big-time revenge tour” when the new season kicks off in September.

“Just extreme focus, taking even more control of the organization,” Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu said on “Up & Adams” last week.
“We’re gonna get my boy [wideout] Rashee [Rice] back, so that’s going to be great. With how [Xavier Worthy] has been playing, and hopefully be able to figure out the rest of the pieces.

“I think it’s going to be big time. He probably felt like he didn’t have his best performance and him being who he is and being the best quarterback in the league, he wants to come back and have one of those big seasons. So, I think it’ll be like somebody who’s on a mission for sure.”
Even in the Super Bowl heartbreak, Mahomes found comfort in those around him, notably his family of five.
Brittany, 29, gave 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to the couple’s third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 in January, daughter Golden Raye.
She and Mahomes are also parents to son Bronze, who turned 2 in November.
Brittany and Mahomes will celebrate their third wedding anniversary next month. They tied the knot in Hawaii in March 2022.
