Kevin Durant Snaps At Nets Fan On Twitter: “You’d Be Intimidated By My Presence”

Kevin Durant’s move to the Phoenix Suns ended in a playoff exit this season, but the future is bright in Phoenix as he tries to build something next to Devin Booker and win another championship.

Durant left the Brooklyn Nets a little unexpectedly at the trade deadline, and some fans haven’t forgiven him for it. They regularly try to troll him on social media, and KD often engages, like he did this time.

Kevin Durant was talking about the perception of his two championships with the Golden State Warriors being weak when he wrote, “Nah, real shit, it’s all propaganda. None of this actually gets bought up in real life but it’s good Twitter banter.”

A fan replied saying, “I feel like just bc ppl might be intimidated to bring this up to you in real life does not mean that the notion is unreal lmfaooooo.”

But Kevin Durant snapped back at him pointing out that this means the guy would be intimidated by his presence. He wrote, “This tweet shows me that you’d be intimidated by my presence. Everybody not like u my boy.”

A Nets fan then added, “You a 7-foot-tall celebrity dawg this is weird behavior disguised as fun or Twitter discourse. Spend the offseason picking up a new hobby and stop messing with the ppl picking apart your hoop career. You been on this since the OKC drama.”

And Durant had a final reply, adding, “Stop messing with me and go pick up a new hobby. Net fans gotta stop actin like I’m the enemy lol.”

Kevin Durant achieved a lot with the Golden State Warriors, he won two championships and two Finals MVPs. The team was undoubtedly stacked, but it doesn’t diminish the runs they made and the level he played at. But it seems that fans of other teams, especially the Nets, aren’t ready to let it go.

Kevin Durant Has Been Beefing With Nets Fans Online For A While Now

Kevin Durant averaged over 27 points per game during his time with the Nets and almost led them past the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021. He could have had a championship there, but the organizational and locker room failures prevented them from realizing their potential. This hasn’t been taken into account, and he still claps back at the Nets fans who try to rile him up online.

KD will likely never be free of these comments, especially if he continues to engage with them. He has always been happy to talk hoops, though, even if he doesn’t agree, so it’s stupid to expect him not to engage at this point. Durant is a man of the people, even if he is roasting them from time to time.
