By now, most NBA basketball fans are aware of Bronny James, the son of the King, who is set to make his NBA debut in 2024. His arrival is sure to shake up the league in a huge way, and LeBron himself is actively working on a plan to team up together in the pros. But Bronny isn’t the only young basketball star making a name for himself in the James family.
Bryce, who is now a High Schooler, has started generating league-wide interest from top scouts, and this week’s Nike Peach Jam was the perfect opportunity for him to showcase his s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s. On Twitter, a short clip of James and his former teammate Rajon Rondo coaching in the event made its rounds.
It’s the offseason for the Lakers, which means LeBron has all the time in the world to build up his brand, expand his business empire, and support his kid’s basketball careers.
For Bryce, the jury is still out on how good this young man can be, but it’s clear that he’s getting serious about the game now as he works to hone on his craft with some of the best teachers in the world.
NBA Teams Are Already Scouting Bryce At 16 Years Old
Bryce is described as more naturally gifted than his brother, but there have been questions about his dedication to the game. For now, teams are sending their best scouts to check him out, and it’s no secret he’s been placed on the radar of a few teams already.
“Scouts from the Lakers, Magic, Cavaliers, Mavericks, Heat, Knicks, Suns, Hawks and other teams all made James a priority on Day 1 of games.”
Only time will tell how Bryce develops his game, but there is a sense that he carries great potential. With the genes of a legend working in his favor, all Bryce has to do now is continue to get better and develop the kind of work ethic that will ensure he becomes a success wherever he goes.
