Golden Reunion: Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe And Neymar Visit A construction Site In Their New Project

Players from Paris Saint-Germain have visited the site of their new $263 million training facility, which is now under development.

Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar, among others, traded in their football uniforms for hard hats, jackets, and pants as they got a glimpse of the facility where they will practice beginning with the 2019–20 campaign.

The players were welcomed to the facility by Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the PSG chairman, who expects it would allow them to “train in the best conditions to achieve success for years to come.”

The new location is about 20 miles from their stadium and not far from their present Camp des Lodges base to the east of the French city. After construction on the areas the PSG team will occupy is finished, the first team will move in at the start of preseason, and the academy players will follow in January 2024.

Since Qatar Sports Investments acquired the club in 2011, a new training facility has been in the works.

Even though they were dressed quite differently than they usually do, Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar were all grins as they were shown the site’s layout, which shows the progression from youth to elite level, the professional players’ building, and the fields.

Marquinhos, the PSG captain, exclaimed, “It’s amazing.” I have spent ten years here. We anticipated that this project would take some time, and I wasn’t sure whether I would live to see it’s completion.

It gives me great joy to see the club expand and assume such a massive size, especially now that it’s almost finished. It demonstrates that the club is on the right track and functions much like a large family.

It inspires us to continue doing our very best effort. We are in the finest circumstances to work, train, and get ready for the upcoming seasons with a facility like this. The new training session, according to Al-Khelaifi, will help them maintain their status as one of the “world’s greatest sport clubs for decades to come.”

Since being taken over in 2011, PSG has experienced tremendous domestic success, winning eight Ligue 1 championships.

They still need to win the Champions League, though, so they’re hoping their new training ground will help them get ready for the continent’s most important competition.
