Ronaldo said to “spin” the transfer of Messi

Cristiano Ronaldo claimed that the Saudi Arabia league was better than the American professional league (MLS), right after Lionel Messi unveiled the new Inter Miami jersey.

The Argentine superstar has officially joined Inter Miami with a contract worth $ 60 million/year. Previously, Messi had rejected a more attractive offer from Saudi Arabia.

Late last year, Al-Nassr successfully convinced Ronaldo to join the Middle Eastern team. Now many famous stars follow CR7 to Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo believes the quality of the Saudi Arabia tournament is getting better and better

We can mention names like Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Ruben Neves or coach Steven Gerrard.

Currently touring Spain with Al-Nassr club, Ronaldo said: “The quality of the Saudi Arabia championship is higher than the MLS.

I certainly won’t return to European football. I was a pioneer to Saudi Arabia and now many big players come here to play football.

I have turned 38 and European football is no longer the same quality as before. The only league where I see high level competition is the Premier League.

La Liga is going downhill. The Portuguese league is also good but has not been able to reach the top. I won’t be playing in Europe anymore, so I want to dedicate the rest of my time to Saudi football.”

Ronaldo started in the friendly match Al-Nassr lost to Celta Vigo 0-5 recently

In addition to Ronaldo, Al-Nassr has just recruited a rookie to strengthen the midfield, Marcelo Brozovic from Inter. In addition, they also contacted a few other outstanding names.

Ronado added: “Within a year, many top players come to Saudi Arabia to play football. The Saudi Championship will surpass the Turkish and Dutch leagues.

The rookies who come here are not past their peak as people think. Jota or Neves are very young.”
