NBA Basketball Player Kevin Durant Describes His Activities Outside of the Game

Superstar Kevin Durant is known as someone who is heavily focused on basketball, and there is no doubt that he spends a lot of time mastering his craft. However, like everyone else, Durant has things he does outside of his job.

When speaking to a fan on Twitter recently, Kevin Durant revealed what he does when he’s not playing NBA basketball. Durant revealed that all he does is play 2K, text, and watch movies, and that is not a bad set of interests whatsoever.

As far as off-court activities go, Kevin Durant is just like the rest of us. He loves 2K, frequently communicates with his friends, watches movies, and that is what makes him one of the more relatable athletes in today’s game.

This past season, Kevin Durant averaged 29.1 PPG, 6.7 RPG, and 5.0 APG during his time with the Brooklyn Nets and the Phoenix Suns. He is still one of the best players in the league, and it’ll be interesting to see whether he can win a championship with the Phoenix Suns next season.

Kevin Durant Is Frequently On Twitter, Arguing With Fans

Aside from the interests that Kevin Durant mentions above, he is also frequently on social media. We often see Durant arguing with fans on various platforms about basketball topics. Once, he even entered a Twitter Space to roast people who didn’t think he was a top 5 player in the league, claiming that the way fans “consume the game is trash”.

“How y’all even look at the game is whack as f*ck… You factor in team success when you talk about players. I just think how y’all consume the game is trash. Are you good or not? Some things can be that simple… A lot of people have seen it for a long time… It’s okay. These lists mean nothing anyway.”

Though a lot of analysts criticize Kevin Durant for engaging with fans on social media, that can definitely be viewed as a positive. It is rare that players are willing to have basketball discourse and conversations with fans like this, and it is respectable that a Hall-of-Fame player like Durant is willing to engage in discussions with people who follow the league.
