Chelsea kits: The Blues are yet to release their new away kits for the 2023/24 season as fans wait for an official announcement
Chelsea dropped an accidental tease for one of their new kits for the 2023/24 campaign. Having delayed the release of their home kit until July due to continued struggles to secure a new primary sponsor, they are yet to wear anything other than their base blue jersey in America.

With three wins and a draw from four matches so far, it has been a successful tour of the USA but the home kit is yet to be available for sale for fans. It is not set to be widely accessible for supporters until after the first game of the new season, which starts with a tough fixture against Liverpool on August 13.
Less than two weeks away, the Blues are not only still yet to finalise a front-of-shirt sponsor. They haven’t officially released the away kit or third kit yet. With the current tops being used in pre-season not having a sponsor, many have praised the look of the 1990s inspired design.
However, in a promotional shoot with the club, NBA star Kevin Durrant appeared to don a new kit that is yet to be released. The Phoenix Suns forward, who is also a two-time NBA champion as well as 2014 MVP, was prominent in the pre-match work in Landover.
Just outside Washington D.C., where Durant was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧, Chelsea faced Fulham in the final game of their Premier League Summer Series competition after matches against Brighton and Newcastle. He took to the field just after the players for the coin toss before the match and was also featured on Chelsea’s social media.
In a post captioned: “KD” Chelsea showed off the American icon in a baseball-type jacket with what appears to be an away or third shirt underneath. The design fits with leaks of the away kit which have emerged in the past months but as of yet nothing official has been released.
With a navy background, the design features thin wavy blue lines across the shirt in a shockwave pattern that also gives off an effect of looking at water.
Many fans were quick to point out the first look at the away top, though Chelsea have not made it a true release and could yet be saving something special for later on this summer.
Durant himself is yet to post anything Chelsea related from the tour but is followed by a host of Chelsea stars including Ben Chilwell and Nicolas Jackson. Chilwell posed with Durant for a picture holding the slick home shirt, sporting Durant’s name and famous No.35.
